In order to modify the Nevada Constitution, this measure must pass in two consecutive elections. It has already passed in 2024. It is essential that it also passes in 2026.Vote in person on October 17, 2026
In person voting is more secure than by mail. Bring your mail ballot to the polling place to surrender it. Teams are monitoring the registered voters who have not voted on a daily basis. By voting early your name will be removed from the not voted list so their efforts can be focused those who have not yet voted.

Voter participation is essential to pass Proposition 7. There are organizations that do door knocking, some with pay, to help get out the vote.What forms of identification are required?
Voters who vote in person at a polling place would need to show an ID that is current or that has not been expired for more than four years. If a voter is more than 70 years old, the identification could be expired for any length of time so long as it is otherwise valid. The acceptable forms of identification include:
- 1. Nevada driver's license.
- 2. Identification card issued by the State of Nevada, any other State, or the US Government.
- 3. Employee photo identification card issued by the US government, Nevada government, or any county, municipality, board, authority, or other Nevada government entity.
- 4. US passport.
- 5. US military identification card.
- 6. Student photo identification card issued by a Nevada public college, university, or technical school.
- 7. Tribal photo identification.
- 8. Nevada concealed firearms permit.
- 9. Other form of government-issued photo identification that the Legislature may approve.
Voters who vote by mail ballot would need to include certain information so that election officials can use it to verify the voter’s identity. That information includes:
- 1. The last four digits of their Nevada driver's license number.
- 2. If the voter does not possess a Nevada driver's license, the last four digits of their Social Security number.
- 3. If the voter has neither a Nevada driver's license or a Social Security number, the number provided by the county clerk when the voter registered to vote.

To amend the Nevada Constitution, a proposition must pass on two consecutive elections. Proposition 7 passed on the November 5, 2024 election. Text of Proposition 7 for the 2026 election must be identical to what appeared on the ballot in 2024. The following link contains this text.

Is Proposition 7 legal?
On May 24, 2024 Proposition 7 was reviewed by the Nevada Supreme Court, who voted unanimously for its approval.

Why wasn't citizenship included
It is already illegal to register to vote and to vote if you are not a United States citizen. Adding another law would probably not change the system.
Constitutional ballot measures must include a single subject. If a citizenship law was added, the courts may reject the measure, causing additional delays and expenses.
